    About the pre-paid Mailer

    Our pre-paid mailer is a free, convenient way to send us your sunglasses or frames.  We'll send you a box with packing materials and pre-paid shipping document.  Note:  ground shipping takes 3-5 days each way.  If you'd like to read more, please check out our How It Works page.

    Please make sure your prescription is clear and easy to read.

    Instructions for emailing your prescription.

    Email a clear, legible copy of your prescription in jpg or pdf format to MyRx@sunglassunderground.com. You must include your first and last name in the email and your “Order Number”. Your Order number will appear on the Payment Confirmation page after payment is submitted. Your Order number will also be emailed to you shortly after, so no worries if you lose it!

    Pupillary Distance

    PD (Pupillary Distance) is the distance between your left and right eyes, measured pupil-to-pupil in millimeters. It’s used to determine the optical center of your lenses. Your PD can be one number (the total distance), or 2 numbers (the half-way point for each eye).

    When you have two numbers the 1st number is for the Right Eye and the 2nd number is the Left Eye. For example, in a PD of 30/31, the number 30 is the Right Eye and 31 is the Left Eye.
